On September 30th, the 7:30 Report broadcast an excellent and tragic report on disability, titled "Lack of disability services puts families at breaking point". You can watch the program here and read the transcript here.

The program describes some truly heartbreaking stories, including one of a man with two disabled children who, when diagnosed with cancer, killed his children and himself.

The report also discusses a report, "Shut Out: The Experience of People with Disabilities and their Families in Australia", published in August this year. This is compulsory reading for all Australians.
